5th Hacking And Defending Competitions in Cyber Space
Announce 5th Hacking And Defending Competitions in Cyber Space run by CERT Sharif
The 5th Cyber Space Penetration and Defense Contest take place on 27-29 Bahman at
the Faculty of Computing at Sharif University of Technology.
This series of contests consist of following six areas, one more than previous:
- Capture the flag competition: teams can test their capabilities regarding penetration and defense techniques in two stages -introductory and final-. Participation open to all interested in this field.
- Hardware security competition
- Introduction to clever techniques and methods of penetration and defense: in this section, participants present their latest innovations in fields of penetration and defense
- Design of promotional cartoons and posters: this section have a general look at the topic of security, presenting graphic designs and cartoons in field of training and promoting security concepts in cyberspace
- Detecting virtual evidence: this section have beneficial to participants in forensics and will take place virtually
- Training and specialist workshops: specialist and practical workshops is held by speakers from the public and private areas
